The end of July already ... There hasn't been much to write about - just work. Two weeks ago I started full-time hours again at the college. Now I'm working only in the Director of Public Events office since she's on maternity leave. My focus has been, and will be for the next couple of weeks, publicity of the summer series and publicity for the upcoming academic year - press releases, ads, sponsorships, etc. The Hammer's (the bar) has been keeping me busy - working 3 nights a week, if not more. I have a week coming up that I'm working 5 nights because one of the other bartenders is going to Sturgis. Between the bar and the college, I'll have that proverbial candle lit at both ends that week... Good thing that the bowling alley is closed until late August.
The fall semester starts in five weeks. While I'm looking forward to getting back into the routine, so many of my summer projects aren't finished yet. Oh well... that's life!
